⚡️ Shake, Battle, and Soul
|
Together, they jolt us awake — forcing us to see what’s been unsustainable all along. This looks like shocks to the financial markets (bank collapses, too) and natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.). Shake. This only deepens an already fragile moment. Our economic systems and social safety nets are stretched to the breaking point. I’ve been predicting this turn for a while — especially in my Virgo Solar Eclipse and Saturn–Neptune videos earlier this year — both pointing toward resource scarcity and a reckoning with how precarious our comforts really are. And here we are: grocery shelves thinning, food benefits set to lapse, hospitals overwhelmed, people losing jobs and healthcare. I just finished reading Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Talents, and though she wrote it in the 1990s, she imagined the 2020s and 2030s with unsettling precision — MAGA rhetoric, scarcity, ideological extremism, and the desperate fight to rebuild community amid collapse. The book is bleak, yes, but it’s also about endurance. People survive. They find each other again. That’s the invitation here, too. To remember that this, too, is a cycle — and survival isn’t just possible, it’s inevitable when we do it together. 🌕 The Full Moon Exposes the UnseenWhen I look at the November 5th Taurus Full Moon chart set for Washington, D.C., the picture is heavy. The Sun sits in the 12th house, illuminating what’s usually hidden — prisons, hospitals, isolation, and the machinery of power operating behind the scenes. This is often when stories about the unseen surface, whether that’s covert operations, institutional failures, or systems we’d rather not confront. Historically, this placement has correlated with terrorism and other acts intended to instill fear, as the 12th house exposes enemies that operate from the shadows. There’s also a Sun–Poseidon combination, a signature tied to belief, ideology, and the spread of conviction — sometimes to the point of radicalization. Under this aspect, people can become consumed by an ideal or a cause, blurring the line between faith and fanaticism. It’s the kind of sky where propaganda thrives, and truth becomes elastic. Meanwhile, Mars and Mercury on the Ascendant stir volatility in words and actions — heated debates, violent rhetoric, or sudden attacks on communication, vehicles, and transportation systems. Information itself becomes a weapon. A battle. And with the Moon in the 6th house, the collective mood reflects fatigue, illness, and overwork — a population under pressure, stretched thin. It’s not just what happens that matters, but what it does to our nerves, our bodies, our capacity to keep showing up. 🧱 The Meaning of the MomentAstrology doesn’t soften the blow—it helps you brace for impact. This chart asks: What do you stabilize when everything else shakes? I’ve been saying for a while that it’d be important to build community, and that’s never been truer. As systems fail, the future belongs to the people who can cooperate, share, and protect each other. 🔮 Big Deck Energy: Tarot Card Pull for the WeekWelcome to Big Deck Energy—where I pull a tarot card each week on behalf of our collective to offer insight, reflection, or a much-needed reality check. Think of it as a weekly reset, a moment to pause and take in what’s unfolding. This week, I asked: How can I turn crisis into clarity? Here's what the Tarot had to say: Temperance, reversed. There are a few ways to read this card. Upright, Temperance is about balance — blending opposites, letting things flow without forcing them. But reversed? It’s giving “you’re trying too hard.” You’re rolling a boulder uphill, and it’s exhausting. Reversed, Temperance also warns against extreme reactions and petty conflicts. Watch out for arguments and clashes of interest, especially at work. Try to stay cool with colleagues, even if they’re difficult. Their attitudes may shift on their own. And yes, I know — some people are practically begging to get popped in the mouth. But this isn’t the fortnight for that. 😅 This card is telling you to calm TF down. Temperance reversed takes us back to the Strength card that comes before it — a reminder to let wisdom control your inner beasts. It also nods to the physical: until we eat the right foods and keep our bodies clean, we can’t channel energy clearly or do meaningful spiritual work. Not BDE telling me to stop ordering Insomnia Cookies at 11pm?! Rude.🫠 Anyway... before you react, breathe (meditate). Step back. Find moderation — not because it’s polite, but because clarity requires it. Soul. 🙋🏾♀️ PS — Personal Update & New VideoI’m easing back after emergency surgery (Mars was loud in my lunar return chart, clearly). I’m feeling better and getting back in rhythm. My new video on YouTube — The Astrology of Age-Gap Relationships — dives into Venus-Saturn stories like delayed marriage and May-December love. But truthfully, there's something in it for everyone who's been afraid to love. Y'all like my AI salt-and-pepper zaddy? 😂👇🏾 A final word.... If you’ve been feeling the collective heaviness lately, you’re not imagining it. But heaviness isn’t hopelessness. This is just another cycle — and we know how to survive cycles. |
